Dustan has just been nominated for a James Beard award, an exciting and deserved achievement.  Brick 29's chef not only uses superior and fresh ingredients for the restaurant's menu, he is mystically intuitive with creating subtle layers of complementary flavors and textures, even with menu items customers have come to recognize like bruchetta.  His creativity with new dishes is comparable to any cosmopolitan city restaurant you can think of.

Here's the scoop on some new menu items:

• Local Tomato Salad:  H&H tomato, griddled Ballard Farms Halloumi, basil, EVOO, balsamic reduction, capers, and baby arugula   $9.00 
• Idaho Jo-Jos:  Large seasoned french fries with blue cheese fondue and horseradish Louie for dipping   $6.00 
• Seafood Sampler:  Panfried oysters with cilantro cocktail, sesame crusted yellowfin tuna with wasabi aioli, and shrimp cocktail   $25.00
• Pizza Diavolo:  Housemade sourdough crust, tomato pomodoro, ancho shrimp, shallot, mozzarella, and basil pesto   $11.00 
• Crab and Goat Cheese Ravioli: Housemade snow crab and goat cheese ravioli, creamed corn, Kurobuta pancetta, green beans   $10.00
• Filet Mignon: Mesquite smoked beef tenderloin, red wine demi, compound butter, seasonal vegetable, and horseradish potato gratin   $25.00
