Introducing Dung and Dunger Art Studio

Ok, so when these guys contacted UPM about inclusion in our Local Arts Program, we thought it might be spam, scam, or something worse. But then we ventured over to what turned out to be a cool website. This is what we learned.

Daniel Hidalgo and Victor Bruha
Always on the lookout for new and unique ways to express themselves, Idaho artists Daniel and Victor discovered a group of artisans in Thailand who process paper from elephant dung. Provocative, yes? Then the two realized they live in an area ripe with bison by-products. And voila, a new art form was the end result. Read more about the process here.

Not only are Daniel and Victor creative artistically, they are incorporating local and "recycled/upcycled" materials. Kudos to you both.

We're sorry to say that UPM did not get the scoop on this dynamic duo. Turns out the press is already on to them. Click here to find out more.

You can buy Daniel and Victor's artwork here. We hope you enjoy learning about Dung and Dunger's art as much as we did.
